Experience and Background
I grew up in a rural area in Northeast Alabama near Weiss Lake. After high school, I attended Auburn University, and then pursued my law degree at Florida State University, where I met my wife, Nicole. Following law school, we moved to Panama City, Florida, where I practiced law for eleven years before returning to my Alabama roots.

Hello! My name is Nicole McMichen, and I'm the firm administrator here at Provident Law / Estate Planning LLC.
My Mission
I have a deep personal understanding of the importance of estate planning. Like my husband, Colin, I've witnessed firsthand the emotional and financial toll that the lack of an estate plan can have on families. Witnessing families struggle in probate court, with unnecessary conflict and legal expenses, solidified my desire to help others avoid that experience.
Experience and Background
I grew up in San Jose, California, and I pursued my undergraduate degree at Arizona State University and law degree at Florida State University. While in law school, I met Colin, and we moved to Panama City after graduation. I practiced law for four years until the arrival of our children. Now, with our kids getting older, I'm excited to be back in the legal field, working alongside Colin to help families create estate plans that achieve their goals and bring peace of mind.
